My recent series of paintings are contemporary landscapes depicting
quiet and familiar scenes of the mountainous West. These pieces emerge
from an intensely personal relationship with place and atmosphere. I
prefer style over detail, interpreting subtleties of color and planes of
space in a way that visually articulates my emotional connection to the
environment.
